Need space to rehearse, choreograph, teach, or hold an event? Collide Theatrical has two studios available for rental in our beautiful St. Paul location. Evening and weekend availability!

Studio 1 has 1200 square feet of sprung floor, full wall-length mirrors, Rosco Adagio Marley dance floor, high ceilings, skylights, and three chandeliers.
Rental Fees:
Nonprofit groups of 1–10: $25/hour for rehearsals

Studio 2 has 450 square feet of sprung wood floor.

Individual artists: $18/hour
Nonprofit organizations: $22/hour for rehearsals

Both studios have the following amenities:
Ballet barres for up to 18 students
Free and accessible parking and access to public transportation line
Gender-specific bathrooms (non–gender specific bathroom available in the adjacent building)
Free Wi-Fi and Bluetooth room speakers
Two folding tables and access to up to 30 chairs
Microwave, small refrigerator, and hallway drinking fountains
HVAC heated and cooled spaces with temperature control

Street shoes on dance floors are strictly forbidden. Dance sneakers (not worn outdoors) are fine in the small studio only.

New rental requests must be made at least 72 hours prior to your requested time. Payment for rental bookings must be made 48 hours prior to your booking to hold your reservation. Threads Dance Nexus is a community hub that not only provides a home for Threads Dance Project but also strengthens the social fabric of our Minneapolis community through the unifying power of dance.

Our Space Includes:
1,480 square feet (37′ x 40′).
A professional-grade speaker sound system.
Barres, mirrors, and sprung floors.
Two ADA-compliant, gender-neutral changing rooms.
Large windows and a garage door, allowing for an abundance of natural light and fresh air.

Conveniently located in the Seward neighborhood, we offer free parking and free side street parking. We are a five-minute walk from the Franklin Light Rail Station and a 2-5 minute walk from the nearest bus stops (lines 2, 9, 22, and 67).

The Sunroom is 22’ x 50’ with windows on all four walls, full-length mirrors, a sprung dance floor, an ethernet port, Bluetooth audio, and a light-filled, lively space. It is ADA-accessible.

The Chapel is 22’ x 34’ with stained glass windows, 1930s pendant lights, a sprung maple dance floor, mirrors, Bluetooth audio, original woodwork including a small raised stage, and is quiet and private. It is not ADA-accessible.

The 105w studio is 36’ x 43’ and good for rehearsals, workshops, or performances. It has 700 square feet of flexible space, a sprung maple floor with a grid, open windows overlooking 38th Street, five preset lighting options, custom theatrical lighting using LED and conventional incandescent fixtures, audio playback, and customizable audience seating configurations. It is ADA-accessible.

The 112w Black Box is 36’ x 51’ and has 1900 square feet of open performance space, a sprung dance floor with a Marley option, flexible seating, tech controls, playing area, five preset lighting options, custom theatrical lighting, LED and conventional incandescent fixtures, audio playback, and customizable audience seating. It is ADA-accessible.

The 205w studio is 24 x 36’ and good for workshops, meetings, and rehearsals with open space, large windows facing 38th Street, an ethernet port, Bluetooth audio, flexible tables, and chair options. The floor is not sprung. It is ADA accessible.

The 305w studio is 34 x 36’ and a beautiful open rehearsal and teaching/workshop studio with large windows facing 38th Street, ethernet port for live-streaming, Bluetooth audio, flexible tables, chairs, and storage options. The floor is not sprung. It is ADA accessible.

CFPA has ample bike parking and access to multiple bus lines, including the 23, 4, and 18. There is a discount rate for artists and non-profit groups. Requests can be made here.

Located in the Longfellow neighborhood of Minneapolis, rent Zorongo Flamenco’s studio for classes, private rehearsals, events, and more! Our space is available to book in consecutive 30-minute periods when not in use by the Zorongo Flamenco school. View studio rental availability.

Come create at Ballet Co.Laboratory. Our artistic home is available for hourly rentals to independent artists and arts organizations. Book a single day to work on your artistry, secure a month to rehearse a show, or facilitate your weekly programming here – the choice is yours! We look forward to collaborating with you on your space needs.

Facility:
We have five studios at Ballet Co.Laboratory with sprung floors, floor-to-ceiling mirrors, and barres, plus four gender-neutral restrooms, changing rooms, and comfortable lobby space with Wi-fi access and ample seating. The entire facility is HVAC heated and cooled.

Studio 1: 25′ x 50′ – 15-person capacity – $20/hour
Studio 2: 25′ x 50′ – 15-person capacity – $20/hour
Studio 3: 25′ x 30′ – 8-person capacity – $15/hour
Studio 4: 42′ x 50′ – 30-person capacity – Rental available via special request

Hours: Morning, daytime, and evening hours are available.

Public Transportation: The studio is accessible via the Greenline into downtown Saint Paul and the 71A or 71B bus.

Free Parking: Available in front of the studio.

The Sabathani Community Center in South Minneapolis has a dance studio available for hourly rental. The building includes security and free parking. The studio space includes mirrors, ballet barres, and hardwood floor.

High availability Monday-Friday during daytime hours and on Saturdays and Sundays.

Our Space Offers:

TU Dance Center is available for rental when not in use by TU Dance’s programming. TU Dance Center features a reception area and front desk for check-in or event use. Access to the adjacent dressing room and green room with kitchenette are available upon request.

Young Dance has two large studios available for rent in the Midway neighborhood of Saint Paul. The space is easily accessible by the Green Line light rail, 16 and 67 bus lines, and has ample parking in the Fairview Business Center parking lot. It is fully ADA accessible, with ramps to the sprung studio floor and automatic door openers.

Wednesday: 8:00am-4:00pm and 7:15-10:00pm

The studios are newly equipped with sprung Harlequin Marley flooring, a Bluetooth speaker system, and wifi. A projector with AV adapters is available by request. Studio 2 has ballet barres and a mirror. The studio has a clear COVID safety plan, including regular disinfecting of all floors and surfaces and a new HVAC system that refreshes the air 7-8 times per hour.
