Services and Special Offers for Dancers

Come create at Ballet Co.Laboratory. Our artistic home is available for hourly rentals to independent artists and arts organizations. Book a single day to work on your artistry, secure a month to rehearse a show, or facilitate your weekly programming here – the choice is yours! We look forward to collaborating with you on your space needs.

Hours: Morning, daytime, and evening hours are available.
Free Parking: Available in front of the studio.
Public Transportation: The studio is accessible via the Green Line into downtown Saint Paul and the 71A or 71B bus.

Facility: We have five studios at Ballet Co.Laboratory with sprung floors, floor-to-ceiling mirrors, and barres, plus four gender-neutral restrooms, changing rooms, and comfortable lobby space with Wi-fi access and ample seating. The entire facility is HVAC heated and cooled.

Studio 1: 25′ x 50′ – 15-person capacity – $20/hour
Studio 2: 25′ x 50′ – 15-person capacity – $20/hour
Studio 3: 25′ x 30′ – 8-person capacity – $15/hour
Studio 4: 42′ x 50′ – 30-person capacity – Rental available via special request
Studio 5: 25′ x 28′ – 8-person capacity – $15/hour

Need space to rehearse, choreograph, teach, or hold an event? Collide Theatrical has two studios available for rental in our beautiful St. Paul location. Evening and weekend availability!

Studio 1 has 1200 square feet of sprung floor, full wall-length mirrors, Rosco Adagio Marley dance floor, high ceilings, skylights, and three chandeliers. Rental Fees: $25/hour for rehearsals by nonprofit groups of 1-10. Other rental inquiries are subject to our event rate, starting at $30/hour. Please contact us for more information.

Studio 2 has 450 square feet of sprung wood floor. Rental Fees: $18/hour for individual artists, $22/hour for nonprofit organization rehearsals, and other rental inquiries start at $25/hour.

Both studios have the following amenities:
Ballet barres for up to 18 students
Free and accessible parking and access to public transportation line
Gender-specific bathrooms (non-gender-specific bathroom available in the adjacent building)
Free Wi-Fi and Bluetooth room speakers
Two folding tables and access to up to 30 chairs
Microwave, small refrigerator, and hallway drinking fountains
HVAC heated and cooled spaces with temperature control

Street shoes on dance floors are strictly forbidden. Dance sneakers (not worn outdoors) are fine in the small studio only.

New rental requests must be made at least 72 hours prior to your requested time. Payment for rental bookings must be made 48 hours prior to your booking to hold your reservation. A signed rental agreement and certificate of insurance must be provided prior to your reservation. Please contact us at rentals@collidetheatrical.org to schedule a tour.

Ballare Teatro has 4 studios available for rental, located in the Minnehaha neighborhood of Minneapolis!

Upstairs studios have hardwood flooring, and downstairs studios have Marley flooring.
All studios have sound systems, full mirrors, and ballet barres.
Ballare has two gender neutral bathrooms and a large lobby space.
Free street parking is available.

Rental Cost: $20 per hour.

Located in the heart of the Lyn-Lake community, The Arena is available for your rehearsal, class, and event needs!

High availability on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday evenings, and on Saturdays and Sundays.

Our Space Offers:
1,305 square feet (30×40) of sprung, Marley dance flooring.
Wall-length mirrors with curtains.
Changing room.
Access to multiple bus lines, including the 21, 4, 23, 612, and 18.

Hourly rates range from $20-$25, with discounts/special offerings available to BIPOC and LGBTQIA2+ communities. Inquire for savings.

Young Dance has two large studios available for rent in the Midway neighborhood of Saint Paul. The space is easily accessible by the Green Line light rail, 16 and 67 bus lines, and has ample parking in the Fairview Business Center parking lot. It is fully ADA accessible, with ramps to the sprung studio floor and automatic door openers.

The studios are newly equipped with sprung Harlequin Marley flooring, a Bluetooth speaker system, and Wifi. A projector with AV adapters is available by request. Studio 2 has ballet barres and a mirror. The studios are regularly disinfected (all floors and surfaces) and include an HVAC system that refreshes the air 7-8 times per hour.

The Sabathani Community Center in South Minneapolis has a dance studio available for hourly rental. The building includes security and free parking. The studio space includes mirrors, ballet barres, and hardwood floors.

TU Dance Center is available for rental when not in use by TU Dance’s programming. TU Dance Center features a reception area and front desk for check-in or event use. Access to the adjacent dressing room and green room with a kitchenette is available upon request.

Threads Dance Nexus is a community hub that not only provides a home for Threads Dance Project but also strengthens the social fabric of our Minneapolis community through the unifying power of dance. We are currently accepting rentals for 2026 with the following updated price schedule:

Rental Rates (updated Sunday, February 1)
General Usage (for-profit, events, etc.): $44 per hour
501(c)3/Individual Artists: $27 per hour
BIPOC/College Students: $22 per hour

If you’re renting space through Threads, please be aware that there is an additional 10% charge above the regular base rate for renters who charge fees during their rental.

Our Space Includes:
1,480 square feet (37′ x 40′).
A professional-grade speaker sound system.
Barres, mirrors, and sprung floors.
Two ADA-compliant, gender-neutral changing rooms.
Large windows and a garage door, allowing for an abundance of natural light and fresh air.

Conveniently located in the Seward neighborhood, we offer free parking and free side street parking. We are a 5 minute walk from the Franklin Light Rail Station and a 2-5 minute walk from the nearest bus stops (lines 2, 9, 22, and 67).
