Outside dance-making events Saturdays, March 30, April 6, and April 13.
We are building a site-specific dance piece about this unique region using the theme for National Water Dance 2024 of “Remembering Waters Way” based on the Toni Morrison poem. We are looking for dancers and those that don’t consider themselves as such to share river stories, movement and ideas in the creation of this piece. Committing to participation in the final performance is not necessary but encouraged.

Seeking Proposals: 2024 Dances at the Lake Festival

Ray Terrill Dance Group is currently mobilizing for presenting the upcoming Twenty-Second Annual Dances at the Lake Festival – occurring at the Lake Harriet Rose Garden in Minneapolis. The two free, open-to-the-public concerts will be presented on July 19 and 20, 2024 at 7:00pm.

Professional individual artists, and adult and youth companies are encouraged to submit a proposal for consideration. All forms of dance welcome. Work must be inclusive and family-friendly. These outdoor performances are performed on grass. Dances should be seven minutes or less. Each performing group receives a $350 honorarium.

Twin Cities Ballet Seeking Dancers for 2024/25 Season

Twin Cities Ballet is seeking Soloist and Principal level dancers for our 2024/25 Season. This is a competitive salaried position with a 35-week season. Strong classical ballet, partnering, and contemporary skills required. You must be eligible to work in the United States.

We also have opportunities for unpaid adult apprenticeship and student trainee positions for both male and female dancers.

  • Your resumé.
  • Two photos: First arabesque and a headshot showing at least 3/4 face. Either attach small format photos or provide a link.

Minnesota Ballet Theatre Audition

Minnesota Ballet Theatre is hiring male and female dancers with strong classical technique for Company Trainee and Apprentice positions for the 2024/2025 Season.

The season runs from September 2024 to May 2025.

Classes and rehearsals usually occur Monday through Thursday from 9:30am-2:00pm (schedule subject to change), with additional classes and rehearsals on Saturdays and Sundays before performances.

To be considered for company positions, please submit your resume/CV and video link to minnesotaballettheatre@gmail.com. Videos should include a classical variation (en pointe for women). Latest performance video is preferred if possible.

Seeking Dancers for Fringe Festival

Vela Dance is seeking dancers for its inaugural production Amber & Gold in the 2024 Minnesota Fringe Festival. The Festival will run August 1-11, and there will be five performance dates within that time frame.

Rehearsal dates and times are TBD and will be based on cast availability. Dancers must be open to exploration and collaboration and must have a strong contemporary foundation.

Interested individuals should fill out the Interest Form no later than April 8.

Instructing 2-5 days per week
