online Patrick’s Cabaret presents a Mothers’ Day Matineé

Sunday May 9 at 1 pm Patrick’s Cabaret presents, via zoom, a matineé for Mothers’ Day.

With dance, and a whole lot more, this show features

Wang Ping reading a poem, against a background where she performs a dance for Buddha.

Based in Potsdam, Germany, Choreographer Paula E. Paul and media artist Sirko Knüpfer showing excerpts from their new film, “Kunstpause” exploring empty stages and deserted backstages during the corona shut down.

Berlin based Kara Johnstad, a Wisconsin native and former Minneapolis resident, sharing a powerful circle song uniting women worldwide, songs off her new Moon in Capricorn album, and perhaps a few sweet surprises.

Host Patrick Scully will present his first boat ballet, performed in 2010 and Potsdam Germany. For the show, the one hour ballet will be sped up, and seen in six minutes.
