The Cowles Center for Dance and the Performing Arts is a major dance-focused hub in downtown Minneapolis. It is operated by the City of Minneapolis with a future partnership between ArtsNest, Zenon Dance School, and the city’s dance community, fostering creation, education, and performance.
Cowles Center Tours: Saturday, May 9 and Sunday, May 10 at 11:00am, 1:00pm, 3:00pm, and 5:00pm
Situated in downtown Minneapolis, connecting the historical Hennepin Center for the Arts and the Shubert (Goodale) Theater. The center looks forward to hosting a diverse range of performing arts, with a focus on local dance performances in the 500-seat Goodale Theater. Rehearsal studio contains a sprung-floor studio designed for dance. Soon to run an extensive dance education and distance-learning program, connecting artists with students through interactive technology.
