Join Midwest School of Ballet and the Edina Community Education programming in our youth classes for ages 3-14 for Spring Session 2: March 24-May 19.
Introduction to Ballet: Ages 3-5.5
Tuesdays, 5:00-5:50pm or Saturdays, 9:00-9:50am
Tuition: $165 (Spring Session 2)
Learn basic, fundamental ballet movement and terminology through creative exercise. Children will also develop age-appropriate motor skills and musicality. New and returning students welcome. Instructors use methods designed to encourage exploration and foster creativity.
Introduction to Ballet 2: Ages 5.5-7
Tuesdays, 6:00-7:00pm or Saturdays, 10:00-11:00am
Tuition: $165 (Spring Session 2)
Learning basic, fundamental ballet movement and terminology through creative exercises, students will also develop age-appropriate motor skills and musicality (building on elements learned in Fundamentals I), while infusing elements that will prepare them for the traditional ballet class format. Fundamentals I is not a required prerequisite: new and returning students are welcome.
Ballet 1/Pre-Teen Ballet: Ages 8-14
Tuesdays, 7:00-8:15pm or Saturdays, 11:00-12:15pm
Tuition: $195 (Spring Session)
Midwest School of Ballet’s experienced instructors provide a traditional ballet format of barre and center work while emphasizing proper alignment, technique, musicality, and artistry. This beginner class is open to students who have little or no experience, are returning students, or have completed a season in Fundamentals II/III, and meet the age requirements.
All classes are located at the Edina Community Education Center. Conveniently located off Highway 100 with free and easy parking.
