Join a free and open workshop with choreographer Margaret Ogas. Using an interdisciplinary approach rooted in dance and informed by Chicana cultural sensibilities, Ogas’s works tell surreal everyday stories through a collage of movement, text, and sound. She is a 2023 Jerome Hill Artist Fellow.
This workshop is an opportunity to connect with Margaret’s process and be considered for a new ensemble work. Participants may choose whether they wish to audition. If cast in the work, artists will be paid for rehearsal time.
Sunday, January 29, 2:00-4:30pm
BIPOC and queer artists are especially encouraged to join. Please email margaretnogas@gmail.com with any questions. To learn more about Margaret’s work, visit margaretogas.com.
