The Twin Cities Flamenco Collective is a dynamic group of Flamenco artists dedicated to preserving and promoting the rich art of flamenco in the Minneapolis-Saint Paul area and to foster appreciation for culture from Andalusia, Spain. Through performances, workshops, and community outreach, the collective brings the passion, rhythm, and soul of flamenco to diverse audiences. Comprising skilled dancers and musicians, the members and their guests collaborate to create vibrant and authentic flamenco experiences.

Juan Pedro Jiménez is a renowned flamenco singer and guitarist originally from Cádiz, Spain, where he grew up at the heart of flamenco music. Since 2016, he has been performing in New York with great artists such as Nelida Tirado, Rebecca Thomas and Elisabet Torras. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Music Education from the University of Cádiz (Spain).
Barbara Roche, “La Bárbara” began her training with Susana di Palma in Minnesota. Further studies with Manolo Rivera, Edo Sie, Manolo Marin, Timo Lorenzo, and Sara de Luis expanded her knowledge of flamenco. Her interests led her to Spain where she had choreographies set for her by José Galvan and Matilde Coral. She has worked with Susana di Palma, performing with Zorongo Flamenco, has danced extensively with Michael Hauser’s Trio Flamenco, and performed monthly at the infamous “Loring”, bringing flamenco to schools and stages throughout Minnesota. She is currently studying with La Truco and Susana di Palma.
