For over a decade, The Karen L. Charles Threads Dance Project has been a transformative force in the Twin Cities Dance community. We’re a community hub that cultivates and supports diverse dance artists at every career stage. From a child’s first dance class to the professional dancer transitioning from choreography or teaching, Threads has always been a place where Minnesota dance artists could turn to for resources, training, mentorship, and community.
We’ve planned a year’s worth of performances and community events to celebrate. This spring, you can catch us at:
- Meet at Mia: Art in Motion – April 9 at the Minneapolis Institute of Art
- In Full Bloom 15th Anniversary Gala – April 10 at Nicollet Island Pavilion
- Family Day: Kids in Bloom – April 12 at the Minneapolis Institute of Art
- Tapestries 10.0 – May 1-2 at The Southern Theater
- Bountiful Blooms: NexGen/YDP Student Showcase – May 3 at The Southern Theater
- Advanced/Professional Summer Intensive – June 22-26 at Threads Dance Nexus
