Cathedral Dance Festival is an annual celebration of dance that features master classes, performances by both participants and professional artists, and adjudication opportunities with industry professionals. We welcome dancers ages 7–18 from across the region, creating a space where their hard work, dedication, and passion can truly shine.
Our goal is to provide young dancers with the opportunity to perform and learn in a grand setting—an experience that pushes them beyond the studio while fostering growth through shared inspiration and a love of dance. With the support of our community members, dance families, and studios, we are thrilled to celebrate the 14th year of the Cathedral Dance Festival on May 1–2.
A core part of our mission is bringing the gift of professional performance to our participants. To support this goal, we are seeking professional dance artists to perform in our Closing Gala Concert on Saturday, May 2 at 7:15 PM. We invite submissions of 2–5 minute performances showcasing professional dancers from the Twin Cities and surrounding communities. All performances and music must be family-friendly.
We welcome all dance styles that highlight strong technique and artistry and are particularly interested in including a ballet performance this year. Submissions may include solos, duets, trios, quartets, or larger ensembles.
Please send a video of your proposed performance to info@cathedraldance.com at your earliest convenience. The submission deadline is April 1, though earlier submissions are encouraged. In addition to compensation, snacks, beverages, and dinner will be provided to all performers on Saturday, May 2.
