New Workers Dance League (NWDL) invites movers of all backgrounds to join a simple, gesture-based collective movement action as part of No Kings Day in the Twin Cities on Saturday, March 28.
“The Loon Line” is a Pina Bausch-inspired walking score created by dance artist Terry Hempfling—an act of resistance, visibility, and collective presence.
Saturday, March 28 from 12:00–3:00pm
Location: Western Sculpture Park
No experience needed. Participants may join the march or gather at the Capitol.
Details, updates, and ways to participate here.
NWDL participants are currently planning to gather at Western Sculpture Park, accessible by light rail and bus. From there, we will move together toward the Capitol (approximately a 13-minute walk). Those who prefer not to march are welcome to go directly to the Capitol. If this gathering point changes, updates will be shared at the link below.
