make : magnify Interdisciplinary Arts Festival - April 13

make : magnify is an interdisciplinary arts festival hosted along the West Bank Arts Quarter of the University of Minnesota Twin Cities campus. This festival was created by university dance students. Admission is free, but donations are accepted and encouraged to support both the project and individual artists.

Artists were brought together in groups of 2-3 individuals of varying disciplines with the purpose of creating a new work within a 2-week residency period. These groups are made up of both student and community artists. Each of the three works vary in length from 15-25 minutes.

The nature of this festival is that it travels between West Bank buildings and locations. Following the performances, there will be a reception in the Barbara Barker Center for Dance lobby with food, drinks, and a chance to mingle with the artists.
