GYROKINESIS® Method Classes: Gain Length and Strength

The GYROKINESIS® Method uses circular and spiral movements to build strength at your full range of motion. Coordinated breathwork with core engagement creates strong communication between your powerful center and your articulating limbs. Developed by international ballet dancer and Romanian emigre Juliu Horvath, Gyrokinesis exercises create functional strength through rhythmic, flowing movements.

In practicing the Gyrokinesis Method, I have built greater range of motion and stronger connection to my core. Additionally, visualization and somatic exercises have expanded my proprio- and intero-ception, translating seamlessly into my dancing.

Study with me in-person at Berit Ahlgren’s Sunna Studio in the former Soap Factory, or join in virtually for my independently organized classes over Zoom. Class times subject to change.
