Dance as a Family at Young Dance

Young Dance offers several opportunities for caregivers to dance with their young ones, including Dance Together and Family Dance!

Children and their caregivers discover the joys of movement through games, stories, and songs. These early classes introduce children to group learning environments while using movement to deepen their bonds with their caregivers. Dancers develop gross and fine motor skills in classes emphasizing play, observation, exploration, manipulation, imitation, and repetition.

Dance Together: Tuesdays or Fridays, 10:00-10:45am (ages 1 to 3 with caregiver)
Family Dance: Saturdays, 9:30-10:15am (ages 1 to 5 with caregiver)

Family Dance offers a wider age range than our Dance Together class, perfect for families looking to continue connecting through dance. Be sure to also check out our Dancing with Baby class for ages 0 to 1 with a caregiver.

Young Dance is a nonprofit dance school located in the Midway neighborhood of St Paul. Our mission is to transform lives through movement. Our approach to dance education centers artistic expression, creativity, and a deep investigation in the art form. In exploring elements of Body, Action, Space, Time, and Energy through an array of techniques, students develop self-awareness and critical thinking skills through dance.

We are an inclusive community where creativity flourishes, encouraging personal and artistic excellence through diverse forms of dance. At Young Dance, we believe that everyone can (and should) dance.
