Join us for a special free public showing of Maharu, a work that is currently being developed by Contempo Physical Dance. Maharu, a powerful play written by Kasano Mwanza and reimagined as a vibrant contemporary dance adaptation, is a journey into the heart of Afro-Brazilian and Zambian folklore. By attending this showing, you’ll be able to witness the transformation of this play into a dance work and have the opportunity to talk to the artists about their creative processes.
