Become an MRAC Panelist

Help the Metropolitan Regional Arts Council continue to improve art access in our region by becoming an Arts Impact for Groups panelist. MRAC’s grantmaking process is unique in that we use a peer panel process to read and review grant applications. All panelists receive a virtual orientation, a $150 stipend, and reimbursements for caregiver expenses. Panelists will have four weeks to read and review up to 30 grant applications that are approximately four pages in length. All panel duties will be done virtually throughout the month of March.

This opportunity is a great fit if you:

  • are an artist, are employed or volunteer in the arts, or are an arts enthusiast
  • live in the 7-county Twin Cities Metro area
  • are at least 18 years old and
  • identify as Black, Indigenous, or Person of Color (BIPOC); and/or Person with Disabilities (PWD); and/or Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, Intersex, Asexual/Agender, Two-Spirit (LGBTQIA2+)

If you are interested in becoming a panelist, please fill out the Panelist Intake Form. MRAC’s Panel and Events Manager will contact you with more details.
