Announcing the Art Nosh Spring Workshop Series

Announcing the Art Nosh Spring Series!
Art Nosh is creative cross-training to nourish your dance practice. These series are produced by the Insomnia Salon and supported by Rimon: The Minnesota Jewish Arts Council, a program of the Minnesota JCC.

This season, we have three 2-hour workshops, and new 1-hour kaffeeklatsches. There is a suggested donation of $8-25 per event, whatever you are able to contribute. No one turned away for lack of funds. The majority of proceeds will go directly to each Art Nosh facilitator.

What is the Insomnia Salon?
The Insomnia Salon is a surreal, sleepless performance and art collective. The Salon brings together troubled souls in these anxious times for conversation, magic, myth, poetry, music, dance, and art to allay our fears, build human connection, and spark a creative, loving response to the problems of our time.

What is Art Nosh?
Art Nosh is creative cross-training, a chance to come together with artists at all levels and disciplines to try new creative adventures, build collective magic, and nourish your artistic development. Art Nosh is also the gateway drug to participation in Insomnia Salon performances—save the date for the Sunday, August 23 performance at Raspberry Island!

What’s this new Kaffeeklatsch thing?
“Kaffeeklatsch” is German-Yiddish for “coffee gossip.” While the Art Nosh workshops are more formal, Kaffeeklatsch is an informal gathering of multidisciplinary artists to simply chat over hot drinks, do a short creative warm-up, and co-work on your projects in a designated space with the help of community accountability. Don’t miss the Monday, May 11 Kaffeeklatsch that offers open dance studio space for you to work on any personal project!
