Experience an evening where movement and music unite in Visions Unfolding, a powerful collaboration between STRONGmovement and Crescendo Community Chorus. This performance brings to life A Vision Unfolding by Minnesota composer Kyle Pederson—an extended work that blends gospel, jazz, classical, and pop influences. Rooted in themes of social justice, the piece invites the choir, dancers, and audience into a compelling vision of a world shaped by compassion, freedom, inclusivity, and justice.
Choreographed by STRONGmovement’s artistic director, Darrius Strong, the performance features dancers Aneka McMullen, Ayaka Moriyama, Blake Nellis, Hassan Ingraham, and Darrius Strong. The 70-voice Crescendo Community Chorus, led by director Randal Buikema, lends its powerful harmonies to this transformative experience, accompanied by Franko Holder, with a special guest solo by Mathew Hall.
Join us for this free event on February 27th at Calvary Christian Reformed Church (5300 France Ave, Edina). Witness how music and movement merge to illuminate a shared vision of hope, justice, and unity.
