Lundstrum Performing Arts presents the 2nd Annual Katherine Dunham Dance Workshop, a five-day residency celebrating the legacy of Katherine Dunham, the “matriarch and queen mother of black dance.” Classes run Wednesday, March 25 through Sunday, March 29 and are pay what you can, with all proceeds benefiting the Patrick Moore Scholarship Fund.

The residency features guest artists Ashi Smythe and Rodney Hamilton, Dunham Technique teaching assistants Nieya Amezquita, Aili Kotnik, and DiShae Sanders, and live drummers in every class.

Classes range from beginner to professional, and include options for elementary, middle and high school students as well as adults and students with special needs.
