Job Summary:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Urban & Hip-Hop Dance Instructor to join our dynamic team for a 4 Week JHN DANCE Residency Program.

Program Details:

– Nov. 4th, 2025 – Dec. 16th, 2025 (Instructors start date is Nov. 25th, 2025 – Dec. 16th, 2025)

– 1 lesson per week

– 1hr: 15 min. Classes

– Focus on the fundamentals of Urban & Hip-Hop Dance

Ideal Candidate:

The ideal candidate will possess the ability to engage parents and families with care and will have expertise in various styles of dance through professional training. This role involves teaching dance classes with the focus of helping students develop foundations of Hip-Hop and encouraging promising students.

Responsibilities:

Encourage students to join the JHN DANCE Monthly Program.
Conduct dance classes with a focus on Hip-Hop Fundamentals such as providing information on basic foundational steps, basic history and educational opportunities for the students ages 10-14. (Some students may be slightly older or younger; age is tracked upon grade levels 6-8 with this residency.)
Assess, document and track student progress and provide constructive feedback to enhance their skills.
Assist with organization of classes, performances and activities as required.
Maintain a safe and supportive classroom environment conducive to learning.
Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in dance instruction up to a minimum of 4-5 years.
Experience in Urban & Hip-Hop Dance of at least 3-5 years.
Minimum of 1-3 Years of professional in-studio dance training (ex: ballet, jazz, tap, hip-hop, etc.)
Reliable form of transportation to and from designated training location.
