Celebrate where traditional culture and modern creativity meet at the Hatsune Miku International Folk Dance Party! Inspired by the collaborative, community-created spirit surrounding Japan’s iconic virtual singer, this one-of-a-kind evening brings anime and pop culture fans, folk dancers, cosplayers, music lovers, and curious newcomers together on the dance floor. Learn fun, accessible folk dances from Japan and other places around the world set to a mix of traditional and contemporary music, enjoy a special performance and participatory experience with Taiko Shine, enjoy an assortment of Japanese and International-themed refreshments, and discover new connections through music, movement, and shared creativity. No dance experience or partner is needed, and cosplay and Miku-inspired attire are enthusiastically welcomed—but never required. Whether you come for Hatsune Miku, Japanese culture, international dance, or simply a fun and unexpected night out, everyone is invited to join the celebration!
