Duluth Dance Union’s Workshop #2: RODEO SCRUM is July 31 to August 2, 2026. Don’t miss it!
This weekend long improvisation workshop is for movers of all types, expert to beginner. It is going to be a lot of fun and having you there will make it even better. Building on last year’s magic, we will once again be improvising in a beautiful studio on Lake Superior, eating, swimming, and enjoying a weekend in Duluth. We will practice contact improvisation, solo dancing, and compositional scores to deepen into our bodies and the land. The goal is to become grounded and dance together in an authentic, affirming, curious, healthy way. There will be beach time, good food, and a chance to perform Saturday night. We invite you to be a fearless dance researcher with us!
Rodeos are round exhibitions of skill and a Scrum is a disorderly crowd.
Rodeo Scrum is where skill and play roll around discovering new moves.
