Latin Dance MN invites intermediate and advanced dancers to be part of Aurora do Samba, a powerful and vibrant production honoring the African roots of Samba through movement, rhythm, and storytelling. This is a unique opportunity in the Twin Cities to learn and embody Samba in a meaningful, culturally rooted way while collaborating on an original work.

Samba experience is not required. Afro dancers, African-American dancers, male dancers, and ballroom dancers are especially encouraged to apply. Afro dance experience is strongly valued, as this show celebrates ancestry, resistance, and joy.

Thanks to City grant funding, samba lessons and performer costumes are provided at no cost.
